Digital Art - Advanced
Illustration 2 + Graphic Design 2

Rate: $40/class + tax (a tablet and stylus pen will be provided during the class)

Prerequisite: Digital Art Basics
The Digital Art Advanced level consists of two programs: Illustration 2 and Graphic Design 2. Students will be required to know the Krita or Photoshop interface and have an understanding of basic keyboard shortcuts. They should be able to operate a drawing tablet independently. These classes are perfect for those who are interested in pursuing a career in art and design.
The Advanced Illustration course has 10 classes that include the following projects: children’s book cover illustration, mixed media photo illustration, and concept art.
The Advanced Graphic Design course has 10 classes that will cover: typography, advertisement design, infographic design, and editorial design.
An Android tablet with a stylus pen and keyboard will be provided.
We will be using Krita, a free open-source digital drawing app that is similar to Adobe Photoshop. It is available on Windows, MacOS, Linux and Android tablets (not available on iOS/Apple iPads). If you’d like to use it at home, you can download Krita here.
