Frequently Asked Questions

What should we bring?
  • Dress for mess and for the weather!
Art can get messy, be sure to wear something you can get messy in! Please also dress appropriately for the weather, bring a hat and sunscreen, if needed. If the weather permits, we’ll be spending some time outdoors.
  • Lunch & Snacks!
Campers need to bring their own nut-free lunches and snacks. Full day campers get a lunch break and two snack breaks, so please pack food and drinks accordingly. Half-day campers will have one snack break.

Is your camp Nut-free?
Yes, we kindly ask that everyone bring nut-free lunches and snacks.
If your child has allergies, please note it during registration. Make sure your child brings any emergency medication needed. If teachers need special instructions, please write a notice to service@lolart.ca and let the teacher know on the first day of camp.

How many breaks will there be? Will there be time spent outside?
Full day campers have a lunch break from 12-1 pm and two 15-minute snack breaks around 10:15 am and 2:15 pm. Half day campers will have one break.

If the weather permits it, we may spend our lunch break at a nearby park and do some art activities outdoors as well.

For Sheppard/Bathurst Camp, the nearby parks are Earl Bales Park and McAllister Park.
For Sheppard/Hwy 404 Camp, the nearby park is Old Sheppard Park.
