SUMMER CAMPJoin us for a summer of ART & FUNThis Summer, let your kids dive into a world of creativity and sunshine at our Summer Art Camp! We offer a fun and supportive environment for kids to try drawing, painting, clay and so much more. We have lots of hands-on projects, skill-building, and creative adventures for everyone to enjoy, all while making new friends! Let's create, learn and have fun in the sun!
Age 5-8 group:
Instructor to Student Ratio 1:6 Young artists will have fun experimenting with a variety of art tools, media and techniques. Our instructors will offer inspiring demonstrations to guide students in tackling hands-on projects to build their technical skills and creativity! Age 8-13 group: Instructor to Student Ratio: 1:8 Students will be introduced to drawing and painting fundamentals and techniques. Based on their individual abilities and interests, they will also be trained differently in sketching and painting from observation to be able to produce finished detailed works. What should we bring?
Is your camp Nut-free? Yes, we kindly ask that everyone bring nut-free lunches and snacks. If your child has allergies, please note it during registration. Make sure your child brings any emergency medication needed. If teachers need special instructions, please write a notice to service@lolart.ca and let the teacher know on the first day of camp. How many breaks will there be? Will there be time spent outside? Full day campers have a lunch break from 12-1 pm and two 15-minute snack breaks around 10:15 am and 2:15 pm. Half day campers will have one break. If the weather permits it, we may spend our lunch break at a nearby park and do some art activities outdoors as well. For Sheppard/Bathurst Camp, the nearby parks are Earl Bales Park and McAllister Park. For Sheppard/Hwy 404 Camp, the nearby park is Old Sheppard Park. |
How does Drop off and Pick up work? Do you offer extended hours?
Our Camp hours are from 9 am to 4 pm. Campers can be dropped off after 8:50 am and picked up by 4:10 pm (12:10 pm for half day morning session) with no extra charge. Students dropped off before 8:50 am or picked up after 4:10 pm (12:10 pm for half day morning session) will be charged extended hour fees ($4 per half hour, 8:30 am-6:00 pm). Students must be picked up by their parents(s)/guardian(s). A student may only go home by themselves if the parent/guardian gives the teacher written permission via email to service@lolart.ca Where are you located? We have March Break Camp at two of our North York locations!
Cancellations, missed sessions and refunds? Withdrawing at least one week before camp: receive a full refund (minus a $35 administrative fee for in-person registrations). Withdrawing less than a week before camp: no refunds will be given. Notice of cancellation must be in writing (email account@lolart.ca). A receipt must accompany the refund request. Service Standard: 10 business days Due to the busy nature of our camp schedule, there will be no make-up classes for missed sessions during camp. We also do not offer refunds for missed sessions. |
